2008-01-28 March Break open swim times
Over March break (March 10th through 15th) we will have open swims from 1pm to 4pm.
2007-10-13 Guy Fawkes bonfire night
On Friday, November 2nd, we will be holding a Guy Fawkes party. We'll be having a bonfire, having some hot apple cider, pot-luck deserts and
maybe a free swim afterwards. (Rain date will be Nov 3rd).
2007-09-10 Day Camp tax emption
On August 30th Ann and James Wootton went to Tax Court to defend NOT charging tax on Boulderwood's day camp
that were considered 'day care'. On the 13th of September the court ruling in favour of Ann and James Wootton, and that
the full day camps, where the parents were not present, constituted 'day care'. 'Day care' is tax exempt and as a result
Boulderwood Stables will no longer have to charge tax on full day programs for school age children.

2006-12-04 Winter Riding at Boulderwood.
The snow is here and the woods are perfect for a Winter Trail Ride. After your ride you can
enjoy our indoor hot tub and heated pool.
Also, new this year, we have a Van Houtte coffee and hot choclate machine - it's very good!
2006-12-04 Public Swims
Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm, a life guard will be on duty for
public swims.
2006-09-01 "Ambulance Girl" is released to DVD
In the spring of 2005 the made-for-tv movie "Ambulance Girl" filmed at Boulderwood Stables. See the
IMDb listing. I haven't seen the movie
for sale locally, but it is available on
Amazon.ca. For those of you watching you'll spot our barn and riding arenas, as well as few horsie cameos.
2006-07-02 'Star' arrives!
Star arrived on the 2nd. You can see pictures of her in her

2006-03-12 Grand opening of the new pool building
There will be an open house from 1pm to 4pm on the 12th of March, in the new pool building. The
Hants County SPCA
will be onsite doing pony rides, face painting, colouring, information sessions, and a BBQ.
After the introductory talks the pool will be open.
All proceeds to the Hants County SPCA, everyone welcome!
2006-02-02 Indoor Pool construction almost complete!
The construction of the indoor pool and spa facility is almost complete. Come on out and see the progress.

2005-11-04 Guy Fawkes Party
All friends of Boulderwood Stables welcome! At 7:00pm we will be having our annual Guy
Fawkes party. The bonfire will be lit promptly shortly after Guy's cerimonial march. There
will be a large bonfire, fireworks and potluck deserts.
This is an outdoors event!
2005-04-07 "Ambulance Girl" filming finishes at Boulderwood.
For the past three days there has been a film crew at Boulderwood shooting a movie. It's been pretty interesting
to watch the filming of a movie. Keep your eyes open for "Ambulance Girl" as you might just spot places you recognize.
